3,986 WhatsApp Broadcast messages stuck on Pending (Pabbly Credits Deducted)

Tulsi Weigh — Question ·
Hi Pabbly Support Team,
We need urgent help with our recent WhatsApp broadcast.
We sent a broadcast to 5,413 contacts, but 3,986 messages are stuck on "Pending" in our dashboard.
Our Meta account has a daily limit of 10,000 messages, and we have only used 3,641 today. We have plenty of quota left, so this is not a WhatsApp limit issue.
Please help us with these three questions:
  1. Why is this happening? Is there a system lag or server issue?
  2. Will it fix itself automatically? Will these pending messages send on their own, or is the campaign frozen?
  3. Pabbly Credits: Pabbly already deducted credits for all 5,413 messages. If these pending messages fail, will our credits be automatically refunded?
Please look into this quickly so we know if we need to hit resend.
Thank you,

Hello Tulsi,

Thank you for reaching out and for sharing the details.

We checked your account and can see that the number of pending messages has already reduced, and currently only 32 messages are in the pending state.

Please note that this is expected behavior. Broadcast messages are sent in batches rather than all at once to help maintain your WhatsApp number quality and comply with Meta's messaging guidelines. Sending thousands of messages simultaneously could be flagged as spam, so the system gradually processes and delivers them in controlled batches.

As a result, the pending messages should continue to be processed and delivered automatically over time. We recommend monitoring the campaign for some time before considering a resend.

If you notice that the pending count does not decrease further after a reasonable period, please let us know and we'll be happy to investigate further.

Hello,

Thanks for your explanation earlier. However, it is still showing the same status on my end — the pending count hasn’t reduced. Could you please check again and advise the next steps?

Regards,

Hello Tulsi,

Thank you for your response.

To help us investigate this further, could you kindly confirm the following details:

  1. The email address associated with your Pabbly Marketing account.

  2. The name of the campaign for which the messages are showing as pending.

Once we have these details, we will check the correct campaign from our end and assist you accordingly.

We look forward to your response.

Hello Tulsi,

Thank you for your response.

We checked the campaign from our end, and the statistics we can see are different from the ones shown in your screenshot. Currently, the campaign shows the following status:

  • Sent: 3,644

  • Delivered: 2,511

  • Read: 1,178

  • Pending: 32

  • Failed: 1,737

Since the pending count on our end is only 32, this appears to be a browser cache or display issue.

Could you please try clearing your browser cache and cookies, then log in to your Pabbly Chatflow account again and check the campaign statistics?

Alternatively, you may also try opening the account in an incognito/private browser window or a different browser to verify whether the correct statistics are displayed.

Please let us know if you're able to see the updated stats after trying the above steps.
