Adding a coupon code when creating a woocommerce order

Hello!

I'm trying to add a field on my automation with Notion - Woocommerce. I had set an automation that creates an order in Woocommerce when a page is created in Notion. I wanted to add a Coupon in the Woocommerce order but there isn't any field or an option to add fields for it. Is there a workaround for this or might I be missing something?

The action you were previously using is marked as a legacy action.

Our team has now added the Coupon Line Code field within the action:
WooCommerce : Create an Order (with Line Items)

Could you please try using this updated action instead and test the workflow once again? Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks for this reponse. I just saw the (with line items) action and it is way more comprehensive that the legacy one. This may improve my current workflow. I'd like to ask, if I wanted to include a total paid amount by customer, do i map the values in the "Line Item Product Total Amount" or the "Fee Line Total"?

The “Line Item Product Total Amount” field is generally meant for the actual product/order amount after discount, whereas the “Fee Line Total” field is intended for additional charges such as shipping or handling fees.

So, for the total amount paid towards the products, we recommend using the “Line Item Product Total Amount” field.

Kindly test the action once with this configuration and check in WooCommerce whether the order gets created appropriately with the expected values.
