Automating Facebook Leads to Send WhatsApp Messages Directly From Our Own Number

We want to build a fully automated workflow where every incoming Facebook Lead is instantly sent a WhatsApp message using our own WhatsApp number, not a cloud API number. The goal is to ensure that all outbound messages appear exactly as if they were sent manually from our phone, so the customer sees our normal business identity and replies directly to us. We need to understand the correct technical method, required tools, and limitations, because Meta recently changed the rules and traditional QR-based connections no longer work reliably. We are looking for a stable, long-term solution compatible with n8n or Pabbly.

If you want to send WhatsApp messages through an automation platform like Pabbly Connect, you will need to use a WhatsApp Cloud API–enabled number, as Meta does not allow automated sending from a normal WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business App number.
To guide you correctly, could you please confirm which type of WhatsApp number you currently use and want to use for sending messages?
- A regular WhatsApp number, or
- A WhatsApp Business App number
