[exploring] Is this possible - mixing text n video?

Hi

I am trying to create a workflow but stuck at a point.

Here’s the flow:

A video gets saved to drive

Now based on vid, i create a one liner text (using ai)

Is it possible to create a new video with the text on top of the video?

I know canva api that can help create similar output, but that is for mostly passing text to a pre filled design on canva (brand template via bulk create).

My case is to create a fresh design using the video saved in drive + text created.

Has someone done something similar?

Yes, you can do this with Canva by creating a video template that includes a video placeholder and a text field. Then, using Canva’s Bulk Create feature, you can insert your AI-generated text and the video (if it’s already uploaded in Canva). However, note that Canva API doesn’t support uploading or dynamically inserting videos directly from Drive — the video must be pre-uploaded to Canva. For full automation, APIs like Shotstack or Cloudinary may offer more flexibility.
