I was making some tweaks and saw the previous "New/Updated Event" trigger was deprecated so I tried the new trigger. Regret it. The old one disappeared, and now the new one isnt working. Its pulling in a sample event from over a year ago when there was plenty more recent.

How can this get working again?

Hello @pabblyusernumber420,

We would like to inform you that the Google Calendar “New or Updated Event (Instant)" trigger only works with newly created calendars. Unfortunately, it will not function with existing calendars, which is why you are seeing older events in the sample data.

If you wish to use this trigger, we recommend creating a new calendar and testing it there.

The calendar is my established google workplace calendar, I cant just make a new one. Can the old action be put back?

I’m afraid the old Google Calendar trigger step has been deprecated and cannot be reinstated. You’ll need to create a new calendar to capture results using the 'Google Calendar: New or Updated Event (Instant)' trigger step.
