Having trouble with converting a pdf to a docx via CloudConvert
Status: Open · Asked by Ismael Rey Reyes on · 0 views
I want to trigger a pdf to docx conversion that I can then run a chatGPT query against to provide financial analysis on the financial report - I will run this automation 1x per month. Unfortunately I can't get to analysis piece. These documents are roughly 50-100 pages, and so I had to use CloudConvert. This is as far as I've gotten. Ultimately, I want to analyze the text from the financial document and have it provide me a summary/analysis of the financial report.
Hello @Rey,
We recommend using the OpenAI action Extract Content from PDF/Image to extract the content, and then try using it in the subsequent steps. Please let us know if this resolves the issue.

Is there more than 1 version of Pabbly. ChatGPT is telling me I am using an old one.
There is only one version of Pabbly Connect. We do have two interfaces—classic and new—but you have already set up your workflow in the new interface.

Thanks for the input. I couldn't use that directly because of the large file size - over 50-65 pages is likely. So have to extract it in chunks and put it back together for a final analysis.
Thank you for the information. Since CloudConvert authentication is based on OAuth 2.0, it cannot be reliably executed using the 'API (Pabbly)' action step. Could you also elaborate on how you plan to break the large data into chunks?

I had someone help me do this through customization without using Cloud Convert. Thank you.
