Issue: Chatflow Trigger Not Firing / Flow History Empty

Tulsi Weigh — Question ·

Hello Pabbly Support Team,

I am facing an issue with my Chatflow automation.
I have set up a trigger using both keywords and regex, and added all relevant phrases (e.g., "Hello Tulsi I need Your service support," "weighbridge issue," etc.). However, despite testing in multiple WhatsApp chats, the automation is not firing.

In Flow History, no data is appearing at all, which suggests that the messages are not reaching Chatflow. I have confirmed that the flow is saved and active, and the trigger settings are configured correctly (Skip Trigger Matching is off, regex is complete, and keywords are added).

Could you please help me troubleshoot why the WhatsApp messages are not being captured in Flow History and why the trigger is not activating? Specifically, I would like guidance on:

  • Verifying the WhatsApp integration/webhook connection.

  • Ensuring the correct WhatsApp number is linked.

  • Any additional settings required for messages to appear in Flow History.

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated as this is blocking my support automation.

Thank you
Tulsi Weigh Solutions

Hello Tulsi,

Thank you for reaching out to us and for sharing the flow details.

We have tested your flow from our end, and it appears to be working correctly.

Based on our testing, it is possible that the WhatsApp number you are using to test the flow is currently in an Intervened status. Please note that Pabbly Chatflow automations are triggered only for chats that are in the Open status. If a chat is in the Intervened state, the flow will not trigger, and no entries will appear in the Flow History.

We recommend checking the status of the chat from which you are testing and ensuring that it is in the Open state before sending the trigger message.

Once the chat is open, please test the flow again and let us know the results. If you continue to face any issues, we'll be happy to investigate further.

Hello Tulsi,

I hope you're doing well.

We wanted to follow up regarding your Chatflow flow issue.

From our previous testing, the flow appeared to be working correctly when the trigger keyword was sent. Could you please confirm whether you have tested the flow again from your end?

If you are currently facing any other issues or if the flow is still not triggering as expected, please let us know the details, and we'll be happy to assist you further.
