Baptiste Broch — Question ·
Hi,

I've added several actions to my Pabbly MCP Server (workflow: "Parking" automations, e.g. tool names like lfdoiptparkingmcpserver, fbparkingv3mcpserverleadbyte, searchgoogleparkingmcpserver, pmaxparkinggooglemcpserver, lfdoiparkingfrancemcp). They show as "Active" in the MCP Tools list in my Pabbly dashboard.

However, these tools are not appearing when queried from my connected MCP client (Claude). I've tried:
- Reconnecting the MCP connector on the client side
- Manually triggering a test run on one of the workflows (DOI - FB INSTANT - PARKING - PORTUGAL) to generate an event

Neither resolved it. Three other actions I added earlier (LP3_senior_health_send_leadbyte, insta_instant_senior_health_send_leadbyte, fb_instant_senior_health_send_leadbyte) DO show up correctly on the client side, so the connection itself works — it's specifically these 5 newer Parking-related tools that aren't propagating.

Questions:
1. Is there a delay or cache on your end before newly added/activated MCP tools become visible to connected clients?
2. Is there a limit on the number of tools that can be exposed simultaneously via one MCP server?
3. Is there anything else needed on my end to "publish" a tool beyond marking it Active?

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out and for providing the detailed information.

Since the other MCP tools are appearing correctly in Claude, the MCP server connection and tool exposure are working as expected. The most likely cause here is that Claude Desktop is caching the list of available tools.

Claude (and some other MCP clients) typically fetches the available tools from the MCP server only when the application starts or when the server is initially connected. Starting a new conversation or reconnecting the MCP configuration does not always force Claude to refresh its cached tool list.

Could you please try the following:

  • Fully quit and restart Claude Desktop

    • macOS: Press Cmd + Q or right-click the Claude icon in the Dock and select Quit.

    • Windows: Close the application and check the system tray (bottom-right corner) to ensure Claude is not still running in the background. If it is, exit it completely.

Once Claude has been fully restarted, please reconnect to the MCP server and check whether the following tools are now visible:

  • lfdoiptparkingmcpserver

  • fbparkingv3mcpserverleadbyte

  • searchgoogleparkingmcpserver

  • pmaxparkinggooglemcpserver

  • lfdoiparkingfrancemcp

To answer your questions directly:

  1. There is no significant propagation delay on our end once the tools are marked Active.

  2. There is currently no known limitation that would prevent these five additional tools from being exposed alongside your existing tools.

  3. No additional publishing step is required beyond marking the tool as Active.

Please let us know if the tools are still not visible after performing a complete restart of Claude Desktop, and we'll be happy to investigate further.
