Nested Router limits

optired — Question ·

Hi, I read a few posts saying that nested router should not go beyond 2-3 levels.

May I know if the very first router is counted as level 0?

Is this example correct?

Level 0 Router
--> Level 1 Nested Router
------> Level 2 Nested Router

Thanks!

Hi @optired,

Yes, that is correct. The first route is considered level 0, and so on.

Is that there a cap on the number of nested routers or 2-3 just a reccomendation? What problems can one face if nested routers are more than that (apart from complexity in viewing the workflow)?

Hi @virsingh77 ,

There is no fixed limit on nested routers — you can add multiple levels without facing system issues.

The 2–3 level suggestion is only a best practice for better readability and easier debugging.
