We need the default to not be 30 days

Mr Mizzi β€” Question Β·
We do not want it to default to opening on last 30 days. This is no use to us
None of your options suit, we need last six or 12 month default - strangely those are not only the most used options but are not available for us.

We need to be able to custom set it to how we need it to open every time we open the window

Hi Ray,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing this feedback!

Currently, the default dashboard view is hardcoded to show the Last 30 Days by design. While custom date ranges can be selected manually, saving a custom default view or setting Last 6 Months / 12 Months as default isn't natively supported yet.

Since this would make a great enhancement for tracking long-term analytics, I encourage you to submit this feature request directly on our product roadmap:

Our development team actively reviews suggestions on the roadmap, and feature requests with community votes are prioritized for upcoming feature releases.

Please let us know if you have any other questions in the meantime!

Hi Ray,

Thank you for your response, and I completely understand your frustration.

To clarify, changing the default dashboard date range isn't a simple setting we can switch on from our endβ€”it requires code-level changes to the application itself. Because code updates require development planning, our engineering team relies on the public roadmap to track and prioritize feature changes based on community demand.

If you would like the product team to consider this code update for future releases, we strongly encourage you to post your request on the roadmap:

We appreciate your feedback, and please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with regarding your current setup.

Hi Ray,

Thank you for the update, and I completely hear your concerns.

If this feature request has already been posted on our roadmap by you or another community member, could you please share the direct roadmap link with us?

Once you provide the link, I will escalate that specific request directly to our product and engineering leads to evaluate its feasibility and see where it stands in our development considerations.

Looking forward to your reply so we can take this up internally for you!

Hi Ray,

I completely understand your point.

I have logged an internal request directly with our core development team to check the technical feasibility of adding customizable default date ranges (such as 6 or 12 months) to the dashboard.

I will update you right here as soon as our team reviews it.

Hi Ray,

Our development team has implemented this feature, and the update is now live in production.

Whatever date range you select on the dashboard (such as Last 6 Months or Last 12 Months) will now persist across your browser sessions. It will automatically stay as your default view whenever you log in or refresh the page, until you manually change it again.

Please test it out on your dashboard and let us know if you need help with anything else!
