What "allotted tasks" etc mean?
Status: Open · Asked by Chris Fielder on · 0 views
I am new to Pabbly and was just wondering what exactly "Allotted", "consumed", "remaining" and "Free tasks consumed" means.
Thanks
Hello @ChrisProm,
Thank you for reaching out.
Here’s a simple explanation of the terms:
- Allotted Tasks: The total number of tasks available in your plan (these are used for paid actions/events).
- Consumed Tasks: The number of tasks you have already used from your allotted limit.
- Remaining Tasks: The tasks still available after consumption.
- Free Tasks Consumed: Tasks used by triggers or certain internal Pabbly actions, which do not count toward your allotted (paid) tasks.
Example: If your plan has 100 allotted tasks and you have used 50, then:
- Consumed = 50
- Remaining = 50
I hope this clarifies it. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
Thanks Preeti
It is just that I am just playing around with Pabbly to see if it is the thing for me ... and I just wondered how exactly i am "using up" these points.
Hello @ChrisProm,
You’re welcome.
While testing, tasks are used whenever an action step executes in your workflow (e.g., creating/updating data, sending emails, etc.). Each action = 1 task.
Triggers and some internal steps are counted under Free Tasks, so they don’t reduce your allotted tasks.
So, every successful workflow run with actions will consume tasks.
