What is a workflow and how is it calculated in Pabbly Connect?

Hi Pabbly team,

I'm new to Pabbly Connect and want to understand two things clearly:

  1. What exactly counts as a workflow? If I use the same trigger app for two different purposes (e.g., two different surveys or forms), is that one workflow or two separate workflows?
  2. How is workflow/task consumption calculated? For example, if my workflow has 1 trigger and 3 action steps, and it runs 50 times in a month — how many tasks does that consume? Do triggers, filters, or routers count toward my limit?

Also, is there a limit on the number of workflows I can create on my plan, or is the limit only on tasks?

Hello Taha,

Thanks for contacting us.

Pabbly Connect charges on the basis of the Task. Here's the definition of the task -

Any action being performed inside your workflow is considered a task. Triggers are not calculated in the tasks. Only the action steps are calculated in the task counts. Additionally, internal tasks of the Pabbly Connect, such as Filter, Router, Formatter, etc are not counted as tasks.

For example: If you send one lead from a Facebook Lead Ad to MailChimp. It will be counted as a single task. If you have a multi-step automation workflow, it will be counted depending upon the number of action steps. For example: If you send one lead from Facebook Lead Ad to MailChimp and then sent the same lead to Google Sheets. It will be counted as 2 tasks.
